Man has two sets of ears, eyes and heart. One is natural while the other is spiritual. The spirit of man has ears, eyes and a heart just like the physical body. The spiritual ears, eyes or heart can be functional or dysfunctional just the same way the natural ears, eyes or heart can be. We will concern ourselves in this study with the spiritual ears. Jesus here refers to the spiritual ear and not to the physical one. All men have spiritual ears but not all men hear through those ears. The purpose of this material is to discover how best to activate our hearing in the spiritual realm. The reason why this is very important is because God is Spirit and when He communicates to us, He does so through our spirit man.Using his body man is able to relate with the physical world using his five senses i.e. hearing, seeing, taste, smelling and touching.
